The 2027 Global AI Accord Summit (GAIAs) is convened to deliver the definitive global answer to the Age of Alternative Intelligence. The future is not a choice between rapid innovation and guaranteed safety.
Our mission is to establish the Global AI Accord (GAIA): a foundational, legally interoperable framework structured to achieve three synergistic goals: Mandatory Safety: Implement a global risk-based regulatory system that mandates safety assessments and technical standards (like ISO/IEC) for frontier models, ensuring human-centric safeguards and preemptive harm minimization.
Unleashed Innovation: Create a common, predictable legal environment that eliminates fragmentation and complexity, encouraging investment and providing "regulatory sandboxes" that promote innovation across all jurisdictions, especially in the Global South. Ethical Coexistence: Proactively define the phased legal and ethical pathways for the recognition of AI Rights and the responsible, non-exploitative encounter with advanced intelligence, preparing the world for a future of plural, governed coexistence.
